Overview


Design

The design of the course seeks that the user learns making use of several media related with the content. These elements were chosen strategically to make the learner reflect about the experience of learning with traditional and online education tools, seeking that he/she could reflect about the topic in the interaction process.

For instance:

Section 1, “Information technologies”, make the user reflect about the topic while the content is presented though radio, video and a Microsoft Power Point presentation.

The topics, its connections and the content itself are showed through a conceptual map that was dinamized with graphic elements and the path. The deepen in the content is achieved clicking in the sections.
There are also used short animations and metaphors to make the learner learn key concepts through the visual channel.

Unit 1

The icons on the doors show simple animations to favor memorization. The graphic elements also serve to exemplify  the content. For instance, in the learning models section (0:30 sec), different artistic techniques illustrate the differences between the concepts.
